The other night I was sitting on the couch and hubby was at his computer with the kids by his side. I had NO idea what they were watching on the computer but it sounded like it must have been something gross because they kept saying, "Ewwwww! Gross!"
I ended up asking hubby what they were watching and he said it was about bot flies. Apparently they are little flies that land on your skin and lay eggs then the larvae grow under your skin. They were watching videos of people picking them out. How disgusting!
Hubby and both my kids like to watch things that involve bugs and animals. In a way I guess at least some of it is educational but still some of it is gross too! Glad I missed this recent learning experience!
