May 2014 Promotion

The month of May is nearly over, literally just days away from being over, and I never got a blog post written with our May 2014 promotions. Ooops! My oh my, where did the month of May go?

Well, even though there are just a few days left to take advantage of our May 2014 promotion, I am still going to go ahead and post it just in case some of you reading this are interested.

For May 2014, we extended the buy any Easter hand towel and receive a free nylon netting dish scrubbie with your hand towel offer that we had during April 2014. Pictured below is just one of the cute Easter hand towel designs still listed in our Etsy shop found here.

An additional promotion was also added for the month of May 2014. Each order purchased in our shop in May 2014 received a free flower key ring. Pictured below is just one of the colors of flower key rings we have available.

And that my dear readers is your very late, and I do apologize for that, May 2014 promotions for our Etsy shop! Stay tuned in a few days for the June 2014 promotions! I'm going to do my VERY best to post them MUCH sooner than I did the May ones!

Spoiled Or Not?

This morning my hubby came into the living room and asked me if I'd like a pancake for breakfast. He was getting ready to cook some. I told him no thanks because I'm not as fond of pancakes as he and our kids are. I said I liked french toast better.

Off to the kitchen hubby went. A short time later he came back out with a plate of french toast for me to eat for breakfast. He ended up making both pancakes and french toast. What a wonderful man I've been blessed with! I'd say I'm a tad bit spoiled! Wouldn't you?

How Did You Know?

My son came into the kitchen today and asked for breakfast. When asked what he wanted, he told us, "Cereal. Brown cereal." The brown cereal he was referring to was Life cereal.

My hubby fixed him a bowl and handed it to him. Off he went to find somewhere to eat it. Now before coming in to find breakfast, my son had been in his room watching something online with my daughter.

After getting his bowl of cereal, my hubby knew that my son was going to head right back to his room to be with my daughter again so he told him not to take his cereal to his room.

Yep, you guessed it! My son headed straight to his room despite what daddy had JUST told him. My hubby followed right behind him and told him to come out of his room. He was upset and blurted out, "How did you know?" It was so funny! He apparently thought he was going to get by with eating in his room today. Nope! :-)

We'll See....

I have totally been neglecting my blog for months now! The last time I posted something on here was last August! That was nearly 6 months ago! Wow!

I completely failed at both my New Year's resolutions last year so this year for 2014, I have not set any resolutions. If I don't set any, I can't fail at them!

I do hope however to blog a bit more this year but only time will tell. It's already the end of January and well, I obviously haven't blogged until today so I'm not off to a good start at blogging this year, am I?

This morning my son who is now 5 said something that made me decide to write out a blog post. Anyone with kids or grandkids or even someone who just is around kids can probably relate to those oh so cute moments when kids says such fun and adorable things. We had one of those moments here at our house today, thus the reason for this post.

My son was asking me if he could play the Wii this morning. He just LOVES to play the Wii and would play it all day, every day, if I'd let him. Since I don't want him sitting in front of the TV all the time, I try to limit his Wii time so this morning when he asked, "Can I play Wii?", my answer to him was, "We'll see."

He didn't like my answer and his response back to me was, "We'll see doesn't get anything so we'll say yes." His little brain was thinking this morning. That's for sure!
